Walk. Stories – Group Exhibition
Five Artists Weaving Brilliant New Narratives

GSA Gallery – Beautiful Taiwan Art Space is proud to present the group exhibition Walk. Stories, featuring five talented artists: Li-Hsiang Chiang, Cheng-En Wang, Shih-Chung Ko, Tzu-Ching Chang, and Kuo-Hsiung Huang. The exhibition runs from December 17, 2016, to January 26, 2017.

Centered around the theme Walk. Stories, the exhibition brings together works created in a variety of media, including contemporary ink, oil paint, acrylic, and bronze sculpture, each piece interwoven with the artist’s personal journey.

Li-Hsiang Chiang, an avid mountain traveler, expresses her deep connection with nature through delicate ink landscapes. Cheng-En Wang, with his series Dog Logic, anthropomorphizes dogs to reflect human behaviors, using their expressions and postures to explore society’s emotional spectrum. Shih-Chung Ko paints wide, expansive horizons that echo his inner state, offering introspective, emotional landscapes. Emerging artist Tzu-Ching Chang uses acrylic techniques to portray the tender love and hope she feels in her new role as a mother. Meanwhile, Kuo-Hsiung Huang revives the spirit of the twelve Chinese zodiac animals through playful imagery, evoking the innocence and joy of childhood memories.

Bridging generations and artistic styles, this exhibition traverses dimensions—from flat surfaces to sculpture, from pigment to metal—telling rich, individual life stories. Walk. Stories invites viewers to embark on an aesthetic journey across diverse life experiences, forging paths into broader, more meaningful realms of art.
